The Fiftieth Reunion Celebration was a great homecoming event.  There were eighteen of our classmates present with a number of spouses and supportive friends at the Friday night Banquet at the Sons of Italy Restaurant in Quincy, MA. We received a "gold pin" and were inducted into the ENC Gold Club.

The Class of ‘55 Reception was held in Spangenberg parlor that Saturday morning, where guests joined classmates as we renewed friendships, looked at the displays of historic photos, etc. and shared light refreshments. Dr. Corliss McGee, ENC’s new president, was present to give her welcome to the class and express her appreciation for our gift to the college.

Also on the program: "The Lost and the Found," as classmate Bob Walters sees it; a Reminder about Quentin Clingerman’s website, - an asset in keeping in touch; and Memorials by classmate Don MacNeil.

Sterling Smith spoke of the success of class giving to the Endowed Scholarship and Dick Wilson, of the ENC Alumni Development Office, gave the history and potential of giving for scholarships, reminding us of how we have become a part of this effort to help future students.

Photos, of course, were taken and this special time together ended with the singing of the chorus, "Let the Sun Shine In", with the lyrics which had been composed on the Senior outing to the Elms in NH in 1955.

For those who did not bring your camera or were not present, we have placed on the Photo Section of this website views of our event and of those who attended.  It is possible for you to copy a photo to your file and reproduce it.  There will be some costs if I send photos through snail mail.  Have fun . . .enjoy.  Lila
